TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The SEC announced Wednesday that Alabama’s A-Day spring game will air on ESPN at 3 p.m. CT on April 16.
Alabama is the only SEC team to have its spring game scheduled to air on ESPN. All other SEC school’s spring game will air on ESPNU or the SEC Network. Ole Miss is not hosting a spring game due to stadium construction.
A-Day is Alabama’s 15th and final practice of spring and takes place in Bryant-Denny Stadium. Admission is free to the public.
The crew for ESPN’s broadcast of the Crimson Tide’s spring game has yet to be announced.
Alabama leads the nation in spring game attendance with a total of 733,532 fans showing up over the last nine years, and an average of 81,503 fans per game during that period. The largest A-Day crowd in school history came in 2011 (92,310). In Nick Saban’s first year as head coach in 2007, the stadium was at full capacity prior to expansion (92,138).
