After a wild Week 1 of college football, there is expected to be major movement in the rankings, and ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit has offered his idea of who the top five teams in the country are.

Herbstreit has the Alabama Crimson Tide at No. 1 after a dominant 52-6 win over USC at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday. Herbstreit was the color commentator for ESPN’s broadcast of that game.
Alabama was the only SEC team in Herbstreit’s top five after LSU fell to Wisconsin in Green Bay. The Tigers were one of two top-five teams to lose over the opening weekend, along with the Oklahoma Sooners.
At No. 2, Herbstreit has Florida State, which overcame an early deficit for a 45-34 win against Ole Miss on Monday night. He has Clemson ranked third following a close win at Auburn, then Ohio State at No. 4 and Houston at No. 5 after the Cougars upset Oklahoma.
The AP and coaches polls are both scheduled to be released Tuesday.
