Two months ago, Eryk Anders won his UFC debut. Now, the former Alabama linebacker is set for his second bout.
Anders announced on Twitter on Monday that he’ll be fighting John Phillips at UFC Fight Night 123 on Dec. 9. It will be Anders’ 10th professional mixed martial arts fight.

On July 22, Anders defeated Rafael Natal by knockout in the first round in his first UFC fight, improving to 9-0 in his MMA career.
Anders played for the Crimson Tide from 2006-09. He totaled 98 tackles over four seasons, including 66 in his senior year in 2009. He also had an interception in his final season, when Alabama won the national championship.
