The Heisman House got a little more crowded on Friday. 2015 Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry was inducted into the Heisman House at a ceremony held at at Nissan dealership. That means Alabama fans will get to see the former Crimson Tide running back in the well-known Nissan Heisman House commercials this fall.
The commercials depict a number of Heisman winners living in the same house.
Henry also walked away with new truck, according to Nissan’s Twitter account.
Henry ran for 2,219 yards and 28 touchdowns on his way to winning the Heisman as a member of Alabama’s national championship team. Now he’s transitioning into life as a player in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans. According to the team’s website, Henry is taking it day by day as he adjusts to league.
“Just the transition of learning, being able to watch other guys who are veterans and see how they carry themselves. It is a blessing to be able to learn from and ask them questions to try and get adjusted quickly,” Henry told reporters.
