TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The Tennessee Titans announced Monday that the franchise has agreed to terms with six of its 10 NFL draft picks, including 2015 Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry.
The Titans selected Henry — Alabama’s star running back — No. 45 overall in the second round of last month’s draft.
Henry and the other Titans rookies — draft picks and undrafted free agents — are scheduled to take part in rookie mini camp, which begins Friday.
Henry broke Alabama and SEC records with 2,219 yards and 28 touchdowns while helping the Crimson Tide to its second straight SEC Championship and fourth national title in seven years.
He joins DeMarco Murray in the Titans’ backfield for 2016.
