Former Miami Dolphins wide receiver P.K. Sam remains frustrated with Nick Saban.
In a tweet sent Wednesday, Sam accused the current Alabama coach of cutting him 10 years ago because the player flew home to visit his dying father. Sam ends the message with, “CLASSY!,” a clear sign of Sam’s feelings about the matter.

Sam, who entered the NFL as a fifth-round pick by the New England Patriots in 2004, was a member of Miami’s practice squad when he was released. The 2006 campaign was Saban’s final one with the Dolphins. The coach went an unremarkable 15-17 in two seasons before being named Alabama’s coach before the start of the 2007 campaign. After Sam was cut in 2006, the Dolphins re-signed him in 2007 before he was released once more.
In addition to his time with the Patriots and Dolphins, Sam had stops with the Cincinnati Bengals and Oakland Raiders, as well as stints in the Canadian Football League and NFL Europa throughout his career.
