Fox Sports commentator Joel Klatt had strong words for Nick Saban.
Speaking on Fox Sports 1’s Undisputed, the analyst said the Alabama coach “came in like a weak man” during a memorable rant on Tuesday. Klatt doesn’t hold back here.
“Nick Saban came in like a weak man,” Klatt said on the show. “And he wanted to use somebody else to grandstand about an opinion of his own.”
Klatt suggests that Saban is upset about an NCAA rule that will ban high school coaches from working college camps. The analyst said Saban should “take on the NCAA yourself. Don’t use somebody in the media, who’s doing their job, to grandstand about an NCAA rule.”
Saban’s statements have been picked apart in recent days, and there are many theories why the coach was upset. Fox Sports analyst Colin Cowherd presented an argument that Saban was mad because he’s starting to think about his legacy and how he didn’t succeed in the NFL.
Truth be told, all this seems a little ridiculous. Still, it can be entertaining to take in the various hot opinions out there.
