Internet reacts to Alabama getting held scoreless in first half of National Championship Game
This was certainly not the first half that Alabama fans had hoped to see.
Not only is the Crimson Tide trailing to Georgia, but their offense scored no points over the first two quarters. The Bulldogs are leading, 13-0, and they’ve completely shut down the Tide to this point.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts was taking some criticism from Alabama fans on social media during the first half. It will be interesting to see if Tua Tagovailoa makes an appearance after halftime.
Here’s some reaction from Twitter to the Crimson Tide’s abysmal first-half showing:
Alabama is looking awful #BAMAvsUGA #CFBNationalChampionship

URGENT: looking for the University of Alabama football team. They seem to be missing from the national championship game.

Alabama's ineptitude on offense has gassed their defense!

As long as Jalen Hurts is QB at Alabama, I will never bet on them. I love Alabama but this guy is a running back playing QB.
