Well, that was pretty incredible.
A thrilling National Championship Game was capped off by Tua Tagovailoa’s game-winning touchdown pass leading Alabama to a 26-23 victory over Georgia in overtime. It was certainly one that Crimson Tide fans will remember for a long time.
Sophomore quarterback Jalen Hurts was benched with Alabama trailing 13-0 at halftime, and Tagovailoa, a freshman, led the Tide back to an impressive victory.
The game had plenty of memorable moments, particularly in overtime. Georgia had a 23-20 lead following Rodrigo Blankenship’s 51-yard field goal, before Alabama answered right back for the victory.
Here’s what some analysts and others on Twitter were saying after the incredible game:

Nick Saban is going to heralded as a genius for that QB switch from Hurts to Tua. Many thought he was crazy but it’s hard bet against the man. IT WORKED. Not really a fan of Alabama but that was SLICK. #NationalChampionship #CFBPlayoff

Tua got Bama back in this game, but don’t forget Jalen is the one who got Bama to the national championship. So proud of his leadership this season and the sportsmanship he showed tonight #classact #RollTide pic.twitter.com/2QHWtueVG8

That's a great win and all but I was so stressed out. Like I wish I just didn't care so much. But #rolltide anyway.
