Former Alabama star and Super Bowl champion quarterback Joe Namath isn’t always physically in Canton, Ohio, but his bust is a already constant presence in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
And starting this month at the museum, there also will be a holographic figure of Namath introducing a presentation called “A Game of Life” that will show fellow Hall of Famers engaging fans through a “magical chalkboard” about the life lessons they learned from playing football. Players featured Alan Page, Jim Kelly, Jim Brown, Curtis Martin and Steve Largent, among others.
Namath isn’t the only holographic image fans will see in this special locker room setting. Inspirational talks will be given by holographic figures in George “Papa Bear” Halas and Vince Lombardi.
In the midst of immersive technology that’s fast becoming part of our lives, this sounds like an experience that football fans would find hard to beat.
