Jordan Spieth’s putter is pretty reliable, so when it picks a college football game, it might be best for everyone to listen.
The No. 5 ranked golfer in the world made his picks for the College Football Playoff on Instagram on Tuesday, and he made them with his putter. He had a different colored ball for each team in the field of four: Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State and Washington.
Whichever ball he hit in would be the title winner. Spieth is a Texas alumnus, but a burnt orange ball was unavailable.
He went with Alabama and Ohio State in each of the two semifinal rounds. Then on a short putt to determine the national champion, Spieth stuck with the undefeated Crimson Tide.
