Brent Musburger’s unforgettable on-air comments about Katherine Webb during the 2013 BCS national championship game will forever link the two.

In fact, she went on The Today Show to defend Musburger saying “I think the media has been really unfair to him” during an interview with Matt Lauer.
Webb went from 2,300 Twitter followers to over 200,000 followers in the 24 hours that followed the national title game comments.
