We all know Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts is dangerous on the ground.
Turns out, he did more against Tennessee as a runner than former Crimson Tide signal-callers Greg McElroy and AJ McCarron accomplished on the ground during their careers combined.
Yes, that’s right. Check out the graphic below from ESPNU. It’s startling to learn that Hurts’ 132 rushing yards were more than the career totals for McElroy and McCarron put together.
It’s scary to think what Alabama can do the rest of this season with Hurts behind center, and his performance Saturday was Exhibit A of why that’s the case.
