Someone get Eddie Jackson some scissors.
Hopefully he doesn’t get a paper cut trying to open all this fan mail and well wishes after his season ended against Texas A&M. Jackson broke his leg early in the fourth quarter against the Aggies, which effectively ended his playing career for the Crimson Tide.
That didn’t stop a fan base from sending him cards and letters though.

Before the game, Jackson was one of the nation’s leading punt returners. He’ll have a long road ahead of him in recovery and will have to prove to NFL teams next spring that he’s fully healthy if he wants to make a roster.
The senior collected 126 total tackles in his time in Tuscaloosa with 10 interceptions and 12 passes defended. He had 24 tackles through eight games this season, and who knows how he could have helped Alabama down the stretch.
While he’s no longer on the field, perhaps the toughest part to replace is his leadership. While he faces an uphill battle toward healing his leg, no doubt these letters should lift his spirits.
