It’s no surprise that Lane Kiffin loves visors, and Florida Atlantic athletic director Pat Chun appears ready to add another to Kiffin’s collection.
Check out the tweet published by Chun below, seemingly taken from the Tuscaloosa Regional Airport on Monday afternoon. The visor with Florida Atlantic’s logo hanging on the sign is a nice touch.

Of course, news broke Monday morning that Kiffin would become the Owls’ next coach. Kiffin went 35-21 as a head coach in stops with the Tennessee (2009) and Southern Cal (2010-13). He has served as Alabama’s offensive coordinator for the past three seasons, and he’s expected to stay on with the Crimson Tide through the College Football Playoff.
It will be fascinating to see how Kiffin does at his next stop. The move to Florida Atlantic, which went 3-9 this season, could be beneficial for him in many ways. The location could serve as a low-pressure environment, and if he does well there in short order, it’s easy to envision him landing a larger job soon.
Get comfortable in that new visor, Kiffin.
