By most accounts, Sunday was a great day for the New Orleans Saints’ offense.
Quarterback Drew Brees threw for nearly 400 yards and 4 touchdowns, and New Orleans put up 48 points in a win over the Arizona Cardinals. But it wasn’t good for everyone — just ask Mark Ingram.
The former Alabama running back got 17 carries for 78 yards, but he failed to score a touchdown. He wasn’t happy about that last part, either, after coach Sean Payton pulled him off the field on the goal line twice in favor of Tim Hightower, who had 2 touchdowns on 11 carries. After the second of those touchdowns, Ingram gave an earful to Payton (Note: Audio in the video below is not actually from Ingram.).

Still, it can be seen why Ingram is at the very least confused. Coming into the game, Hightower had just 1 touchdown on the season but still was used as the primary goal-line back. Ingram has 3 touchdowns this season.
