Unlike the fans at home, Marlon Humphrey and the Alabama defense didn’t get to really watch Deshaun Watson on Monday. They were too busy trying to stop him.
But the Alabama defensive back has started watching the film. And like everyone who watched the game at home, he couldn’t help but be in awe of the Tigers quarterback. While he was watching the tape of Alabama’s 35-31 loss in the national title game, he tweeted out his thoughts on Watson.
Watching the film Deshaun Watson has ice in his veins…

It was a masterful performance by Watson, and he certainly came up clutch for Clemson. He led the Tigers to 17 points in the fourth quarter, including a six-play, 68-yard drive that ended with the game-winning touchdown with one second remaining on the clock.
Watson finished the game 36-of-56 passing for 420 yards, 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. He also added 43 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
The good news for Alabama is that Watson announced after the game that he is going pro. If the Crimson Tide has to face the Tigers in the playoff again anytime soon, it’ll at least be without that cold-blooded quarterback.
