Demetris Robertson won’t be one of the many five-star recruits that will announce his commitment on National Signing Day.
Robertson, the nation’s No. 1 wide receiver from Savannah (Ga.) Christian Preparatory School, will delay his commitment past next Wednesday as he waits to receive his SAT scores from this past weekend. The reason is to see if he’ll qualify to get into Stanford, which is the school Robertson would like to visit.
In the meantime, the five-star prospect will visit Alabama with his family on Sunday, per multiple reports. The wide receiver de-committed from Alabama, but the Crimson Tide have remained in the mix to sign him along with Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, California and Georgia.
Getting Robertson and his family on campus before he makes his decision around a week after signing day is big for the Tide.
