For the third straight week, Demetris Robertson has canceled his visit to Alabama.
Robertson, a five-star wide receiver from Savannah (Ga.) Christian Prep, was expected to visit Alabama Sunday after taking an official visit to Georgia Tech this weekend but decided to cancel it, he confirmed to SEC Country.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder was supposed to visit the Crimson Tide Jan. 15, then Jan. 22 and Jan. 31, but each time he pushed off the trip.
The U.S. Army All-American will not be committing on National Signing Day. His recruitment is expected to last around a week after Feb. 3. If Robertson were to visit Alabama now, it would have to come after signing day with the dead period beginning Monday at 12:01 a.m.
Robertson was committed to Alabama but backed off his pledge in April. Notre Dame, Stanford, Georgia, Georgia Tech, along with Alabama are fighting it out to land his signature when he does decide to commit.
