Nick Saban: “There’s not a person out there” who thought Alabama would be back in Playoff race
One day after his memorable “tin horn” rant, Nick Saban was back in attack mode.
The Alabama coach used the “Final Word” on his weekly radio show to call out, well, everybody.
“I know there’s not a person out there, alright, that can honestly say you thought this team would be in the position that they’re in — whether we can finish the way we want or not — that you thought this team would be in the position that we’re in after the Ole Miss game,” he said. “There’s not one of you. Not one of you.”
The Crimson Tide have won seven straight since falling to Mississippi on Sept. 19. Saban said his team needs to focus on Charleston Southern this weekend, but that the players should get a slap on the back for getting this far.
“Give these guys the credit they deserve and the due I think they deserve,” he said.
Alabama-Charleston Southern kicks off at 4 pm ET on Saturday afternoon (SEC Network).
