Nick Saban’s College GameDay appearance got off to an interesting start when the hosts asked a ridiculous question: Which fellow college coach would he want on his side in a brawl? The answer: Urban Meyer.
Saban argued that Meyer would be the ideal partner because Meyer’s Ohio State team topped Saban’s Alabama squad in the national semifinal last season. We’re pretty sure that’s not really related to tag-teaming a brawl, but Saban was quickly on to his next point: Meyer is the best coach in college football.
Nick Saban said he believes Ohio State’s Urban Meyer is the best coach in college football right now: https://t.co/dl2kM67eMn

So Nick Saban calls Urban Meyer "the best" coach in college football right now. (In response to nutty question about coaches in a brawl).

The two have faced each other four total times, including three postseason games (Sugar Bowl, two SEC Championships). The series is currently tied, 2-2.
Saban stopped by GameDay because the show is in Tuscaloosa for the Alabama-Ole Miss matchup (9:15 pm ET, ESPN).
Fans watching could not get enough of Saban’s perfectly knotted tie:

I wonder how long it took Saban to tie his tie with that perfect stripe down the middle of the knot
