As usual the Alabama Crimson Tide has several talented incoming freshmen, but this year they have one, Nigel Knott, who has been showing off his athletic ability for some time online. On Sunday, he further proved how impressive his speed was in a 50-yard race against cornerback Tony Brown and wide receivers Robert Foster and Calvin Ridley. Knott beat out Ridley when it was all said and done, according to AL.com.
Head coach Nick Saban has already praised Knott’s athleticism this summer and said he has the ability to play at the corner position.
The 6-foot, 180 pound cornerback from Madison, Miss., has several viral videos of him performing impressive athletic feats that explained why several SEC schools were after him. He chose the Crimson Tide over the rest, and here’s a sample of the athleticism the Alabama fans can expect to see when he does take the field:
