TYRONE, Ga. — North Carolina wide receiver commit Korey Banks has never been to the University of Alabama before, but that changes this weekend.
Banks, a three-star prospect from Sandy Creek High School (Tyrone, Ga.), told SEC Country what he’s most looking forward to when he visits this Friday.
“Honestly, I want to see what the man in charge is like,” Banks said. “I want to see how Nick Saban is like. I’ve never met him. I think I have seen him in person one time when I was younger.”
The 6-foot, 170-pounder, who is one of the state of Georgia’s hottest prospects, has never talked with Saban before, and he says that’s one of the most important things for him to accomplish this weekend.
So what is the status of his commitment to UNC? You can find out that answer in the video above. You’ll also hear about an Alabama coach stopping by his high school Tuesday, what the Crimson Tide’s message to him has been of late and who he’s planning on bringing with him on his visit to Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Banks is rated as the nation’s No. 120 wide receiver, per the 247Sports composite.
