A columnist based in Orlando has made a big prediction for the Alabama-Florida State game.
Speaking on The Paul Finebaum Show on Tuesday, the Orlando Sentinel’s Mike Bianchi said Florida State will beat Alabama when the teams meet on Sept. 2 in Atlanta. The matchup at Mercedes-Benz Stadium is sure to be intense, and it will be a delicious pairing between two college football heavyweights. This one should have the feel of a College Football Playoff game.

It’s not outlandish to predict a Florida State victory. The Seminoles are primed to be one of college football’s best this year, so this should be one of the biggest tests this early in the season of the Nick Saban era at Alabama.
Of course, it’s unlikely that either team will enjoy a comfortable victory. This matchup figures to be close throughout. College football fans likely are in for a treat when the Seminoles and Crimson Tide face off in a charged environment.
We’ll see if Bianchi’s prediction comes true. Sorry, Alabama fans. Chances are, he won’t be the last pundit to predict that Florida State will come out on top.
