Alabama won national championships in the 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2015 seasons under Nick Saban.
SEC analyst Paul Finebaum thinks this year’s Crimson Tide team may be better than any of those.
Finebaum appeared on SportsCenter on Monday afternoon and was asked how this year’s Alabama team, which sits at 6-0, compares to those in previous seasons under Saban.
“Right now, I think it’s trending toward his best team,” Finebaum said. “It’s the most complete team, he has the best quarterback in Jalen Hurts, he can do it all. So I know we’re at the midpoint, you can always change your mind, but right now, I think it’s setting up to be Nick Saban’s best team at ‘Bama.”
The Crimson Tide have a tough task this week when they host fellow unbeaten Texas A&M on Saturday.
