Peyton Manning overcome with sadness and dejection following Alabama sack
Tennessee came close to upsetting Alabama in Tuscaloosa on Saturday, but it was not to be. Crimson Tide running back Derrick Henry rumbled in for a touchdown, and his teammates sacked Vols quarterback Josh Dobbs on the ensuing possession to seal the 19-14 victory.
Legendary alum Peyton Manning, who was in attendance, watched Dobbs sink to the turf and, along with it, Tennessee’s hopes of ending its Alabama losing streak this season (it’s now at nine games). The mixed look of disgust and disappointment reflected on Manning’s face after the play is, well, probably how every other Vols fan felt in that moment.
It’s alright, though, Peyton: Even in defeat, that chicken parm will still taste so good.
