Oregon is taking a new approach to its uniforms this weekend, and that made some artists reimagine Alabama’s iconic look.
The Ducks have always been inventive with their looks, never wearing the same uniform two weeks in a row. Saturday, they will wear uniforms inspired by their mascot, the Duck, against Colorado. They’re literally going to look like ducks.

So artists Ryan Foose, Sam Ho and and Robb Harskamp decided to redesign the uniforms of a bunch of iconic football teams, including the Crimson Tide.
All the concept designs for the helmets and uniforms involve an elephant-skin pattern. The first uniform features an all-gray look, which has become very popular in college football.
The second look uses a white helmet and redesigns the classic crimson uniforms with some more modern styling. The front of the jersey is also meant to resemble an elephant’s trunk and tusks.
The final uniform abandons that subtle imagery for something a little more brazen. The uniform features the face of Alabama’s elephant logo front and center.
These are bold looks, for better or worse. But the Crimson Tide isn’t a team that has ever really made major updates to its uniforms. Don’t expect any of these designs to show up in Tuscaloosa any time soon.
