Alabama football has been one of the most dominant programs throughout all of college athletics in the new millennium. As a result, Alabama always has a target on their backs. Each week, the Crimson Tide gets an opponent’s best, as they hope to earn a statement victory over Nick Saban and Co.
Even more so, teams relish the opportunity to come into Tuscaloosa and hand Alabama a rare home defeat. But as Ole Miss learned recently, the odds of a repeat are about as likely as Nick Saban being late to practice.
The Alabama revenge tour has been in full effect for the last 11 years.
Dating back to 2006, Alabama has lost just eight games at Bryant-Denny Stadium. While that record is impressive in it and of itself, the way the Tide has rolled over those opponents that defeated them at home in their next matchup with them at home is absurdly amazing.
A Reddit user did some research and discovered that in those situations, Alabama has won by an average score of 53-5.
Alabama’s reign in the SEC has been filled with many dominant moments and this is just another mind blowing example of it.
