TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama fans hoping to see better non-conference home games on future schedules might not be pleased about a Tuesday morning report.
According to ESPN’s Brett McMurphy, Alabama has added a home game with The Citadel for Nov. 17, 2018.
Based on how the schedule usually lines up, that will be the team’s Iron Bowl tune-up opponent.
Alabama’s non-conference schedule for the 2018 season is nearly complete, as the Crimson Tide already has a neutral-site matchup with Louisville scheduled in Orlando, Fla. to open the season on Sept. 1, and a home game against Arkansas State the following weekend.
It’s worth noting that the Citadel did beat the last SEC team they played.
