Avery Johnson is starting to bring the talent to Alabama basketball.
Alabama basketball will add graduate transfer Bola Olaniyan to the roster, according to a report from ESPN’s Jeff Goodman. Olaniyan played the last three years at Southern Illinois.

Olaniyan is a 6-foot-7 big man from Lagos, Nigeria. He averaged 7.8 points and 8.8 rebounds per game as a junior with the Salukis. For his performance, Olaniyan was named to the Missouri Valley Conference Most-Improved Team.
Olaniyan picked Alabama over offers from Georgia Tech, Houston Iona and UNLV.
