TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama basketball has agreed to play a home-and-home series with Texas, according to CBSSports.com’s Jon Rothstein.
Alabama will visit Texas on Dec. 2 in Austin with a return game in Tuscaloosa scheduled for the 2017-18 season, according to Rothstein.
Alabama also has a trip to Eugene, Ore. for a date with the Oregon Ducks scheduled for the 2016-17 season as a part of a home-and-home series. Alabama hosted Oregon in Birmingham this past season. The Ducks won 72-68.
Additionally, Alabama will host Clemson in the 2016-17 season as a part of a home-and-home series. The Crimson Tide defeated Clemson 51-50 on the road this past season.
In Avery Johnson’s first year as head coach, Alabama finished 18-15, including a 8-10 mark in SEC play. The Crimson Tide played a tough non-conference schedule, with games at Dayton and at Clemson and neutral-site contests vs. Xavier, Wichita State, Notre Dame and Oregon.
