Alabama might be adding another former USC head coach to its staff.
Per Aaron Suttles of The Tuscaloosa News, former USC head coach Steve Sarkisian is headed to Alabama to discuss a potential job as an offensive analyst. Lane Kiffin, the Crimson Tide’s offensive coordinator, was the head coach at USC prior to Sarkisian.
Sarkisian was fired in the middle of the 2015 season, after alcohol-related issues became publicly known. Sarkisian filed a $30 million wrongful termination suit against USC last year.
Sarkisian and Kiffin were both offensive staffers when Pete Carroll was at USC. The Crimson Tide hammered the Trojans on Saturday, beating them 52-6. Alabama’s next game is against Western Kentucky on Saturday.
