Alabama offensive lineman Cam Robinson and defensive back Laurence “Hootie” Jones were scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, but there was no action taken in the arraignment of both players by the Ouachita Parish (Monroe, La.) defense attorney’s office, according to a report from the Times Daily’s Alex Byington.
The judge hearing the case will be unavailable for the next week after having surgery, according to Byington. There is no make-up date scheduled for their court appearance.
Robinson and Jones were arrested last month in Louisiana after an officer found stolen weapons in the vehicle Robinson was driving. Both players were charged with illegal carrying of a weapon in the presence of narcotics and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.
