Alabama offensive lineman Alphonse Taylor made unwanted headlines this off-season following a July DUI arrest.
He was suspended indefinitely by Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban, but when it came time to strap on the pads on the first day of Alabama’s preseason camp, Taylor was there.
SEC Country’s Marq Burnett was on site at Alabama’s practice on Thursday, and can confirm that Taylor, who was a starter for all 15 games last season, worked with the offensive line during drills.
However, the senior did not work with the first or second group.
It was recently reported that Taylor actually blew a 0.0 during a breathalyzer test administered on the day of the arrest. Per the arrest report, Taylor said he had not been drinking.
