There was much debate over whether Alabama or Ohio State should be the fourth-and-final team to make this year’s College Football Playoff.
But the committee selected the Crimson Tide, who then went on to beat Clemson in the Sugar Bowl and top Georgia in the CFP National Championship Game. So now, there can’t be any doubters to whether the correct decision was made, right?
FS1 host Skip Bayless tweeted after the title game on Monday night that he still doesn’t think Alabama should have made the CFP.
“I still don’t believe Alabama belonged in these playoffs,” Bayless tweeted.
I still don't believe Alabama belonged in these playoffs.

This statement seems kind of ridiculous, considering the Tide beat two of the best teams in the country to win the national championship.
Not only that, but Alabama erased a 13-point halftime deficit on Monday, rallying to top Georgia in thrilling fashion in overtime. It certainly seemed to be a performance worthy of a playoff team.
Yet, Bayless still didn’t give the Tide credit after the victory.
