Keyshawn Johnson, Jr., son of former NFL standout Keyshawn Johnson, unveiled a new top five on Sunday, a list that included Alabama.
The 2017 receiver from Mission Viejo, Calif., (Calabasas) also included Clemson, Nebraska, Ohio State and USC — his father’s alma mater. In July, Johnson, Jr. included Arizona, Ole Miss and UCLA in his initial top eight.
The 6-foot-1, 195-pound prospect is one of the top recruits in California and is currently rated as the No. 20 receiver overall in next year’s class, per 247Sports.com’s Composite Rankings.
His father, Keyshawn Johnson, was selected first overall in the 1996 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. He also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers.
