Former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow doesn’t blame Blake Barnett from transferring from Alabama.
Speaking on the Paul Finebaum Show on Friday, Tebow said “I don’t blame him, go! It’s the best move for him to go to a school where he has a chance to play.”

Barnett initially started Alabama’s season opener against Southern Cal, but played just one series before being pulled for true freshman Jalen Hurts. Since then, Hurts has taken full control of the starting job, passing for 727 yards, five touchdowns and one interception in four games, while running for another 251 yards and three touchdowns.
Earlier this week, Barnett withdrew from Alabama and announced he was transferring.
Barnett was a 5-star recruit out of Santiago High School (Corona, Calif.) where he was ranked as the nation’s No. 2 pro-style quarterback and the No. 21 overall player in the country, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He played in three games this season for the Tide, passing for 219 yards and two touchdowns.
