Monday morning, GridironNow.com reported that transferring Alabama wideout Chris Black was upset with his time in Tuscaloosa.
Brown was quoted in the article as saying that coach Nick Saban’s staff “never really gave me a chance to make it back into it” after the junior hurt his ankle this past summer.
Other complaints: “I feel like I’ve been caged for these past three years” and “the system didn’t fit my type of skill set.”
Now, Black is backing off those statements.
He sent a pair of tweets on Monday afternoon to distance himself from the original story.
Black announced his full release from Alabama on Dec. 7, but he still has not found a landing spot. He caught 25 passes for 290 yards and two touchdowns in his Crimson Tide career.
