A pair of incoming Crimson Tide defenders will indeed be able to suit up for Alabama when fall camp gets underway this week.
Defensive linemen Raekwon Davis and Jamar King, both of whom had questions surrounding their academic eligibility for the 2016 season, have met the NCAA’s requirements, according to Andrew Bone of TideSports.com.
Three months ago, SEC Country reported that Davis would enroll in Alabama as planned after signing with the Tide as a 4-star prospect out of Meridian (Miss.) High School. This came after Davis also signed a letter of intent with Jones Community College on National Signing Day.
King, a 3-star signee out of Mendocino junior college, was rated the nation’s No. 4 strongside end from the junior college ranks.
