The college football season is only three weeks old, but four teams have made a serious impression.
That’s according to USA Today, which projects Alabama (No. 1), Ohio State (No. 2), Louisville (No. 3) and Michigan (No. 4) to make this year’s College Football Playoff.
Using a 13-person panel, the news outlet polled each of its voters with Alabama receiving the No. 1 spot. The Crimson Tide received 10 first-place votes, while Ohio State earned two, and Louisville garnered one No. 1 vote.
The Crimson Tide have outscored opponents 138-59 this season, with 43 of those points given up against Ole Miss last week.
Should the playoff happen today, Alabama would face off against Michigan.
In case you forgot, Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh had some choice words about Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide during the offseason.
