The suspended USC linebacker who is under investigation for sexual assault is reported to have allegedly assaulted the same woman on a separate occasion, according to TMZ Sports.
It was initially reported that USC’s Osa Masina had allegedly assaulted a woman in Utah. Now he is reportedly under investigation for another alleged assault of the same woman, who accused him of drugging her and taking video and pictures of the alleged assault.
The woman said the first assault took place in the Los Angeles on July 14, in the apartment of Masina’s fellow USC LB Don Hill. According to a warrant obtained by TMZ, she told Los Angeles police that Masina drugged her and that he and Hill both sexually assaulted her.
The victim also said she later found out that he had sent photos and video of the assault to her ex-boyfriend, an Arizona football player, on Snapchat. Police have obtained a warrant to search Masina’s phone and get a sample of his DNA.
The second assault allegedly took place in Utah on July 26. The woman claims she was unconscious after drinking and smoking marijuana with Masina, and that she woke up to find him assaulting her. That case is being investigated by the Cottonwood Heights Police Department in Utah.
Masina, a backup for the Trojans, was expected to be a contributor for them this season. He has been suspended for the team’s season opener against Alabama at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, for a violation of team rules. Hill has not been suspended. Neither player has been charged with a crime.
