At halftime of Saturday’s game against Arkansas, Alabama coach Nick Saban criticized his defense, saying the unit needed to play better in the second half.
After the half, he went to bat for them.
Linebacker Rashaan Evans was called for roughing the passer against the Razorbacks. It was a call that didn’t sit too well with Saban, as he immediately went off on an official.

Saban’s Crimson Tide may have been up 42-17 in the third quarter, but the coach may not have been having the best night. He got upset with defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt earlier in the game.
And Saban wasn’t the only coach upset with the officials, as Arkansas coach Bret Bielema had a similar tirade earlier in the game.
