Dozens of Alabama athletes gathered to watch ESPN’s Playoff broadcast on Tuesday night, and freshman wide receiver Parker Bearden caught the most important moment on his phone.
When the committee placed Alabama at No. 4 — higher than any expert predicted — the ‘Bama locker room lost its collective mind:

The boys still have four regular season games to play, but the first Playoff rankings obviously provided an emotional boost to Nick Saban’s 7-1 squad.
Still, they’ll need to be focused on rival LSU (No. 2 Playoff, No. 4 AP), which will be in town this weekend.
