It’s tough to argue the fact that Alabama is a really tough football team, but the Crimson Tide bench showed how good they really are during Saturday’s game against Texas A&M.
Offensive lineman Ross Pierschbacher was sitting on the bench when a ball oversailed the intended receiver and headed right for the sophomore. Pierschbacher reached out and grabbed it seemingly out of thin air.

Pierschbacher, a redshirt sophomore, was the Crimson Tide’s starting left guard last year and was named to the Sporting News and SEC All-Freshman teams before switching to right guard this season. But if a role as an offensive lineman doesn’t work out, he can always give his hands a try at playing receiver.
