After quarterbacks throw an interception, they often become targets of the opposing defense. Jalen Hurts of Alabama is no different.
After throwing an interception in the third quarter, Hurts was hit by Arkansas’ JaMichael Winston Jr. But well after the ball had been thrown, Winston Jr. continued to pin Hurts to the ground, so that he could not get up and make a tackle.
While this may be a way for Hurts to avoid getting hit, it is still an odd way to keep him from making a tackle. The Crimson Tide held a 42-24 lead at the end of the third quarter
