For all those who questioned just how much of a rivalry Tennessee-Alabama is in 2016, we present the following sequence.
On its way to a blowout victory in Knoxville, Alabama continued pouring it on in the second half of the much-anticipated meeting between the Vols and Crimson Tide. Alabama RB Bo Scarbrough broke loose for an 85-yard touchdown run to extend the Crimson Tide lead to 49-10 in the fourth quarter.
But it wasn’t the run itself that is likely to get under the skin of Tennessee fans. It was the celebration that followed.
Scarbrough took his right hand, which is sporting a glove with the Alabama logo on the palm, a shoved it in the face of a Tennessee fan in the first row of the stands. Some may find it unnecessary, some may find it hilarious, but it’s hard to deny that it is an action taken only in a rivalry that means something to both programs:

Some believe he was showing the logo, others believe he may have been mockingly offering a high five. Almost everyone agrees the officials missed a potential penalty.

Either way, it’s all in good fun.
