The Crimson Tide do just about everything well on the football field. Whether it’s Jalen Hurts targeting Calvin Ridley or ArDarius Stewart, Damien Harris running the ball, Minkah Fitzpatrick picking off a pass… this is a team with hardly any weaknesses.
But at no spot on the field are they more intimidating than the defensive front seven. Nick Saban’s squad is far away the SEC leader in sacks with 40 — the next closest team (Texas A&M) has 28. The difference between the Tide and the Aggies in sacks is larger than the difference between A&M and the two teams (Kentucky and Ole Miss) tied for 12th in the conference in sacks, with 17 a piece.
Of course, everyone recognizes how scary those linemen and linebackers are by now. Especially if you’ve had to watch your team try to block guys like Jonathan Allen, Tim Williams and Reuben Foster, just to name a few. This afternoon, the official Alabama Football Twitter account put together an awesome highlight package of the Tide’s front seven causing havoc for any and all opponents:

Nightmare fuel, indeed.
