Alabama added a highly-touted quarterback to its Class of 2017 on Monday by snagging a commitment from four-star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. And judging by the video below, it is going to take Crimson Tide fans some time to get used to saying the Hawaiian recruit’s name.
AL.com gave Alabama students a chance to give their best shot at pronouncing the quarterback’s 10-letter last name. Even his three-letter first name gave some students trouble.
Tagovailoa is the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback in the nation and No. 57 on 247 Sports’ Composite rankings. Auburn, Ole Miss and Texas A&M were among the other schools in contention for Hawaii’s top recruit.
