ArDarius Stewart is about to play one of the most important games of his junior season, but you wouldn’t know it from his pregame warmups.
The Crimson Tide wide receiver played catch with a youngster on the sidelines prior to Alabama’s game against Texas A&M.
Perhaps it’s a good thing Steward isn’t a quarterback. Though he seems to loft it up toward one boy, another comes along for an interception of sorts. The other seems hesitant to even give him a high five before the boy who caught the ball throws it back.

Stewart, who is clearly trying to keep it light here, could be a difference maker for the Crimson Tide. He has 26 catches for 379 yards with three touchdown catches in five games this season. While Jalen Hurts can use his feet, he’ll also have to keep the Aggies honest through the air and Stewart can certainly help him do that. Stewart needs just one more touchdown catch to tie his total through his first two seasons.
He’ll face a Texas A&M defense which has allowed an average of 23.5 completions and 278 passing yards per game.
