Is Nick Saban acting a little strange these days?
FOX Sports personalities Colin Cowherd and Clay Travis both think so. In spite of winning his fifth national championship last season and entering the 2016 season with one of the most talented rosters in the country, Travis says he believes Saban is setting the stage for his exit from Tuscaloosa.
Though Travis doesn’t go as far as pegging a day for the departure, he believes Saban has made up his mind and that the resolution is what has caused a change in personality.
Travis and Cowherd cite a recent ESPN.com piece by Ivan Maisel that detailed a kinder, gentler version of the coach on Tuesday as evidence of his change.
Where is he going if he’s not coaching at Alabama? Travis believes ESPN CollegeGameDay is in Saban’s future.

At 65 years old, it wouldn’t be the craziest thing in the world for Saban to step away from the game. However, Saban has showed no signs of slowing down as an on-field coach or in the world of recruiting. So unless Travis and Cowherd know something the rest of us don’t, this is likely just idle speculation.
